CAUTION: Sheer waste! - Please dont read...

I always wonder how come a poet can convey a lot through his poems which he has not gone thru his life... It's true that "Kavithaiku poi alazhugu" . I tried my mind out on some of these lines....

Please don’t even try to look at me….
Because I’m looking at you…

He: I will try my best to marry you….

She: If I say no…

???????????

I will make my Son/Daughter to marry your Daughter/Son…I Swear…

I have got a lot to say

But, I say very few (when I see you)

I don’t know why

Is this called the four-letter word or AMNESIA?

Babe

Babe!

you are making my day
each and every day..........

the dimple from your smile
makes me crumble

the mole on your hand
fills my soul

the dwindle in your hair
makes me rumble

i wait for the moment you ought to call, kiss and hug me...

I never wanna hear
“YOU HATE ME”
I never wanna say
“I HATE YOU”
We ever wanna say
“I LOVE YOU”

Make hay while the sunshine’s -
this is proverb
I make myself whenever u shine (smile) -
this is my verb

Surprise waits to those who can spot this babe…

I can’t completely deny that she might be my sister’s 5 months old daughter Vibashini!

32nd Chennai Book Fair, 2009

Something somewhere has gone terribly wrong in me, this has made to look over books as an alternative to spend my time(whenever it is possible). I'm an avid reader of Newspapers....One thing in good about reading is something is getting fed into you despite your like or dislike.

Book fairs were not new to me (read as 'WE') (NTS-guys - Neyveli Town Ship). Every year we have it in our home town, the numbers prove that we get the sales count of books to increase by some percent similar to our Power generation in MW's.

As the word Friend never has an end... My friend didn't turn up that Saturday evening...Never mind...

I love to travel my MTC during off-peak hours, you can't love Chennai better than this...Get a window seat, enjoy the film posters, Roadside Juliets('Romeos' who are they?), overtaking buses(u really get a chance to look into a girls face at the window side, whenever a bus waits for the signal - technically speaking 'Sight seeing')

I entered the book fair at St George school, Aminjakarai for the 3rd time(Last year's Book fair and AR Rahman live in concert). I don't know, how they identify guys like me... a Communist group forced me a small book in my hands and asked for 5 Rs., I thought the book to be free and they ask for some donations. (Actually the price of it is 5, later when I moved a bit, they were seriously discussing whether they could finish the remaining ones - U call this as novel way to sell books or you are getting cheated or ........)

There were more than 500 stalls.....Though I loved to visit all the stalls, Fashion and Fictions were my head turners....... I never minded stalls pertaining to Religious deeds.

The books with sarcastic title was by Neeya Naana fame Gopinath's "Please don't buy this book!", I personally didn't like it.....

I wished to buy The Autobiography of a Sex Worker by Nalini Jameela. But somehow got out of it. Really her profile was astounding.

A Biography about CHE GUVERA in tamil, Chetan Bhagat's One night @ the call centre and an Office Management book(hoping to manage some thing in future) were the 3 books I bought(of course a forcibly bought on Separatism book by Communist friends).

Will return later with something quite interesting(Who said we are following your blog regularly...scribble whatever you like......anonymous)

A three letter word called G**

I was at Maples ESM technologies (My Mainframe training institute), T. Nagar (I can remember the exact date; It was the day when I was re-born 22nd time. Nov 11-2005)

Myself along with some group of Guys and Gals were waiting in the conference hall for a Group-Discussion (That was the first time, where I got a chance to attend GD’s, earlier it was in college, due to sacred words like Arrears and Percentage, I Couldn’t make it)

You can’t exactly call this to be a GD, but a kind of it…. As the head counts were more, each one has to select a topic of his/her own and deliver the same, yes interested can question them (Hopefully none did !!!!!)

My self and a newly found friend (actually a Stranger) were discussing a lot, finally I said to him that, I might be talking about my Native, “THE POWER CITY – NEYVELI” and all about its Lignite, Mine and Power generation, that fellow said great and do the same….

Many things were running in my mind, his turn came ahead of mine and he did the same what I said to him (there was jus a change in the city name), I got dumbstruck, But I was for sure that I did not want to repeat the same… I became blank; my RAM was being shift deleted with the previous things what I had to say. It was searching for some new feeds….

When my turn came, I got to say this first “Whether God really exists or not?”, may be some might have got shocked, others may have not even listened to mine at all, But I can say that our HR who was on looking it was really interested….

Excerpts from my talk:

“I always had this question in my mind, Whether He is really there or not? My parents might have introduced me to god and taught me the procedure to respect the almighty or so? But should I do the same…. When I was watching Tom Hank's starrer “Cast Away”, I was really moved away by the script and the portrayal by him.

Once he gets caught in a lonely island due to the mishaps caused in his plane. He is aided only with the left outs of his “Fed EX” courier service. He tries to live his life with the help of all the things which he has got, interestingly he gets a Volleyball, once when it gets blown out he suck’s the ball into a stick and draws eyes, nose and mouth like human over it.

Now he feels that he has got a companion and shares all his feelings towards it. He also feels and cries a lot in agony when he loses it in the sea…

I’m not sure what the director tends to mean, but what I took from this movie is, it is he, who created his companion (God), and it is he, who also felt for the same of its loss.
He might have created a “CROSS” out of two sticks(Probably he should have be an Christian or any form of religion you say), but why didn’t he do so….Why should he go for a new form of it ?

This clearly means that, we have got only one companion (with different shapes, colours and forms) to whom we have to share our feelings, it may be needed for some and for some others it is their friends and family with whom they have got to share.

I see God’s in the faces of Children, Poor and the Needy. Let’s help them, whenever we want to see or seek blessings of him”

Though I did not getting a standing ovation or applause, I got noted down and said to myself “Watch out for me?”

Note: Personally, I feel the same as I have said above. At the same time I don’t want to shatter my parents’ beliefs, I pray (keeping my parents in my mind) when they ask me to.

Krazy kiya mein… Oh Krazy@#^*($(%* Krazy kiya mein – II

Before reading... one small request please go back to Doordarshan age(1990's)

One fine evening, all our family members were watching "Oliyum OLiyum". I was also
interested in watching the weekly 1/2 hr program(the one and only), which brings you songs from the latest(?) movies, I even had more interest in doing some (non) sensible things.

I always wondered, how our kerosene stove worked. We had an old type of kerosene pump stove, where a kerosene tank of app. 2 liters capacity will be hanging in the wall, which is connected to the stove thru a see-thru plastic hose. Once we open the valve of the stove the kerosene gushes out of the nozzle and it has to be lighted with match stick, once ignited the adjacent lever has to be pumped out to create high pressure for burning ("Hey jus stop it .... Is it a Rocket Science... that You are trying to explain…Just go on and say what the hell you did..." – Yes I can read minds)

Coming back, what i used to think whenever I watch the stove burns is, whether the stove gets lighted, only because of the match we keep or is it like some fire coming from the overhead tank. As, I could not reach the top of the tank, I targeted the hose, I lighted a match and kept it in the hose, that's it, it was burning (Have you heard of anyone setting fire to his own house)

Every one out there were busy watching TV, here I was busy with extinguishing the fire with a small vessel ("Sombu") of water (That's what I was able to carry or may be I might have thought not to disturb others by carrying large volume of water). I tried my best, the count reached some 4 or 5, it was burning brightly and vigorously, whenever I poured water over it... Though I had fear, I wanted to put it off by myself.

After a while, my Chiththi looked for my absence and came in, I know, every one can predict what happened after this.

The beauty (?) is we had two cylinders in our kitchen, within a few feet away, also we were staying in a tiled house, luckily we had a open ground in front of our house, which was used wisely by our Father and Chiththappa’s (Father's 3 brothers), to put the cylinders.

But what I liked (?) is one of the neighbors, who said, he might become scientist or research scholar one day (This is to prove that no one can predict the future - or say correctly)

What else!!!!!!!!, I'm trying to brush my brain and get more from my great younger day memories...wait and read...

The Green Mile - TOUCHING

"Everybody says that we make movies equal to Hollywood standards, But it's not true, we are not even upto 1% of theirs" quoted by Padmashree Kamalhasan during one of his TV interviews on his successful Magnum opus "DASAVATARAM".

It's simply true, not only for the Visual effects and other (far... far...better) technical aspects, it even holds good for a movie of its originality and the way they make you sit through out the movie.

Running a little bit more than 3 hrs(without any Box office ingredients), I (we) got a chance to watch this movie (in our Room's Home Theatre SYS. - doesn't a system and two very good speakers sum it up)"The Green Mile' thru my friend Vijayaraghavan(Thanks a lot da....)

To be noted here is, it was an original Golden edition and not a Pirated one.

Released in 1999 and was nominated and won several awards, including Golden Globe, were all just a news to me, during that time...Watched the clippings of this flick in Star Movies for several times, but have not lingered to watch it.

Coming to the movie, I have got not much to tell about its story, as you can get them from 'N' number of sites, rather I would love to comment about the characters and the impact it made into my mind.

Starting with a Flashback, we move along with the story back towards 1935, where Paul Edgecomb(done brilliantly by Tom Hanks) a chief of a death sentencing centre, they call it as a Green mile, due to it's green pasture over the corridor, where they have to walkover to get their final('the last mile' of their life) settlement.

The Actual (why should I use it..) hero of this movie is Michael Clarke Duncan as mammoth John Coffey.
(see pic.),he has really lived his character. He really made me cry (you really feel more sympathetic, when someone, who seems well built-up & athletic cries like a small baby).

Likewise, I can list up all the characters....Finally It is David Vs Goliath, Good Vs Bad. John Coffey gets to know about the real culprit and gets him punishment thru 'Odd man out' Wetmore.

"tired, dog tired" often used by John has a lot of meaning.

Mr. Jingles is an interesting character.(Do watch the movie, you will love him).

Coffey might have espaced with Paul's help but, he doesn't. He goes to the accept his final execution.

What I see thru this movie is, more and more short stories and novels has to be made as full length commercial movies, without compromising on masala matters (eg. "POO" - Sasi - Tamil)

Note: I'm ready to lend this movie, whoever needs it.

Disclaimer: This is fully my own view about the movie, along with some inputs from Wikipedia. Excuse for any misspellings or grammatical errors.

Why to have film titled after Villain's name....GHAJINI ?

'GHAJINI'  is my second Hindi movie to be seen in Theatre(Sangam Complex) next to 'KARZZZZ'(I got all my due respect, for calling my friends, to this movie...especially from venky....)

The similraity between these two  movies is that, both are remakes, Karzzz from hindi itself and Ghajini from our(My ?) very own Tamil(Hey tamil da....).

Though the original film was seen umpteen times by many of us...still the curiosity remains the same(even a step higher...Aamir & Asin ?).

More concentration on the slightly illogical aspects from tamil has been taken care...Asin remains the same... Awesome... she has done a brilliant job...No doubt of coming more rounds in bollywood.

A.R. Rahman = Genius, as usual.(But when compared to Harris, we still can have his bakground score rendering in our ears.....)

MEMENTO = GHAJINI(T) = GHAJINI(H).

Loving to watch  MEMENTO (brainchild) behind all this Box office hits...Adapting a concept does a lot of good things particularly....taking a movie to all sections of society.

But is it fair for filmmakers to ask the movie to be watched  in theatres, which they have (not politically) adapted ?

"NOBODY"  is perfect....? It would be fine if everybody is not "NOBODY" ?
